Well, here I go! I have always wanted to start a blog and ever since I became a mother, the nagging urge has been even more present. Just when I decide to start one, the doubts begin to settle in. I’m not a good writer. There’s no way I could ever blog as well as other moms. Who on earth wants to read what I have to say? When am I going to have time for this? Finally, when I saw that my sweet friend and fellow new mother, Chelsea, started her blog (check it out!), I was inspired to finally go for it.

As any blogger knows, the dreaded task of naming your blog can completely drive you to a point of insanity. I knew that as a new mother, I wanted to incorporate something about both motherhood and my faith, since both things are knit into my being. As I remembered Ephesians 2:8, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God,” I knew that I had found my blog name and tagline. As I embark on the lifelong journey of motherhood, I know that my heart will need to be full of faith to be the best mom, wife, and woman of God that I can be. For the past couple days I have been trying to perfect every little thing about my site when it dawned on me…this blog will always be a work in progress, ever-changing and evolving! I just need to give this one to God (as with so many things) and let Him guide me as I share my heart, my experiences, and my life with my readers.
